Part three and the last of our series on book series features books for the young adult audience (YA). As stated in part one and part two, “a book series is comprised of two or more books that have certain characteristics in common.” One characteristic of YA novels is that they focus on more mature and dark subjects that are relevant and interesting to their targeted age group, such as relationships, sexuality, substance abuse, etc. But not all YA novels are heavy themed, some are fun and light, while still touching on topics of interest for teens.
