Mackaria Estes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with twenty years of experience specializing in offering quality social work services for children and families through counseling, advocacy, case management, and consulting. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology and a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work. As a clinician, Mackaria knows the value of having access to quality therapeutic materials. In private practice and as a former school social worker, she experienced difficulties obtaining books that thoroughly addressed coping skills in a comprehensive manner through inclusive storytelling. It is from this deficit, the idea of "Jhori's Journey" was materialized.
