Board books are perfect gifts for busy baby and toddler hands that like to explore, rip, crumple, and bang things. The cover and pages allow for easy clean up of wet or sticky messes. However, one important aspect of board books is that they foster a love of reading in small children. Some books are published in the board book format only, but publishers will often release a board book edition of popular hardback picture books like Vashti Harrison’s Little Leaders or Grandma’s Purse by Vanessa Brantley-Newton. Hey, Baby!: A Baby’s Day in Doodles by Andrea Pippins is a February 2020 release that is available for pre-order! To add to our board book list, leave a comment below. For more gift ideas, see Young, Bold, and Boss, Happy Hair Tales!, 10 Anthologies and always check out New Releases. Happy Holidays and spread the joy of reading! Our stories matter.
