Recently chef and author Carla Hall appeared on a talk show to discuss her new holiday picture book Carla and the Christmas Cornbread. She shares that while working on her memoir, “we took one of the chapters from my childhood and turned it into a children’s book.” Hall’s book was released this month and is described as a “heartwarming tale.” It is so exciting that five of the six books on the list were all published this year, in 2021. Christmas is always about sharing traditions, which sometimes means reading favorite stories. Hopefully, the new Christmas stories featured can create new memories and traditions.
