25 Books for Young Sports Enthusiasts

We are a little over a month into the fall season. This is one of the best times of the year for sports fans. Game one of the World Series begins October 27th. The NFL just completed week 7, and Wembly Stadium in London will host a game on November 1st. Some basketball predictions are already in for the 2015-2016 season, which is set to get underway in a few days. Being a part of a professional sports organization is a dream come true for many youth. Whether it be soccer, track and field, swimming, etc., “sports play a primarily positive role in youth development.” And so does reading. Why not combine the two, and pick up a few books for the children in your life who enjoy sports and reading. The books listed include fiction and nonfiction picture, middle grade, and teen titles.
